Paleo Dinner Recipe – Healthy, Quick, Easy Skillet Tri Tip Steak

Eat Paleo? Even if you don’t his quick, easy dinner recipe for sirloin tri-tip steak is healthy and low in saturated fat.

Tri-tip steak is an inexpensive cut of steak that is cut from the bottom part of the sirloin roast.Β  Sirloin steak has a moderate amount of total fat with little of the fat being saturated fat. Saturated fat is the type of fat that leads to elevated cholesterol levels, which raises your risk for heart disease so choosing sirloin is the way to go.

Prep time: 5 minutesCooking time: 10-12 minutesServes 4-6

Ingredients:2 T. extra virgin oil1 T. kosher salt1 t. freshly ground black pepper2 t. garlic powder or chopped fresh garlic1 T. fresh rosemary leaves, finely chopped2 lbs. tri-tip steak, approximately 1” thick
