Make 12 pieces
4 firm white bread
1 cup gram flour (besan)
1 tablespoon rice flour
1 teaspoon salt
Pinch of asafetida (hing)
1 teaspoon cumin seed
2 finely chopped green chilly
1/4 cup chopped cilantro (green coriander)
3/4 cup water
Oil to fry

Manjula I have done this before and it is good especially for breakfast :-), but you said one thing in your video I have really thought about..I've been cooking food mostly Indian for over 35 years but I honestly thought besan flour was besan flour no matter where it came from..Wheat flour varies an awful lot but I had always assumed a chickpea was a chickpea and now I realise that was a silly notion..So thank you for this..You always learn something new everyday..Subscribed just fantastic

  2. Hi..can anyone comment..if i make this bread pakora at nite…put it in the refrigerator overnite and oven-toast to heat it for breakfast the next day, will the taste remain good?
